Job summary

Visy seeks an Inventory & MRP Controller in Melbourne to lead S&OP, refine forecasts, and drive inventory optimization. Reporting to the National Sales Manager - Specialities, the role blends hands-on planning with strategic performance improvement.

You will work with SAP IBP and other forecast tools, analyze trends, run demand reviews, and collaborate across sales, operations and procurement. Visy offers development opportunities and a stable, growth-minded environment.

Qualifications

Experience in Demand Planning and S&OP.
Forecast accuracy improvements and bias reduction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead and enhance the S&OP process to drive continuous improvement.
Refine forecast models using sales data, customer insights, and demand drivers.
Prepare and validate demand forecasts across multiple time horizons.
Analyse historical trends to boost forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
Execute Demand, Supply, and S&OP review meetings and ensure actions are delivered.
Upload forecasts into SAP and monitor accuracy metrics.
Profile inventory and lead obsolescence reduction programs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align forecasts with sales budgets.
Support stocktake planning and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
