Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a senior engineer to lead a team across roads, rail, drainage and pavement, applying a corridor-wide lens to ensure safe, reliable and sustainable interaction of assets. You will develop, maintain and apply standards, specifications and governance frameworks, and represent the organisation in cross-modal forums to harmonise technical governance.

Qualifications

Extensive corridor infrastructure or comparable multi-modal transport experience.
Experience developing standards, specifications, guidelines, or governance frameworks.
Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical discipline and engineering registration, with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers and specialists to ensure safe, reliable, and sustainable asset interactions across modes.
Provide guidance on development and application of standards and specifications to optimise lifecycle outcomes.
Represent Transport for NSW in cross-modal forums and harmonisation initiatives.
Promote a corridor-wide mindset integrating hydrology, drainage, pavements and infrastructure for evidence-based decisions.
