Job summary

The Department of the House of Representatives is seeking an Assistant Director, Content to lead the delivery of information services and the business operations for the Information Management Office. You will oversee intranet, website, print room, publications and assets, ensuring governance, compliance and efficient processes align with departmental objectives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead information services and business operations in a complex environment.
• Sound knowledge of governance, compliance and risk management frameworks.
• Experience managing resources, assets, budgets and contracts.
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage change processes within teams.
• Experience with SharePoint, Sitecore and Microsoft 365 would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of information services, including the intranet, website, print room, publications and corporate templates.
• Oversee the management, maintenance and lifecycle of section assets, equipment and physical collections.
• Support compliance, governance and risk management activities relating to privacy, information security, copyright and program administration.
• Coordinate business operations including records management, procurement, budgeting, contract administration and travel arrangements.
• Undertake other duties and projects as directed, consistent with the classification and capabilities of the role.
