Job summary

Australian Department of the House of Representatives in Canberra is seeking an Assistant Director, Content to lead information services and business operations for the Information Management Office. You will oversee intranet, website, print room, publications, and governance functions while advising on improvements and resource use.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead information services and business operations in a complex environment.
• Sound knowledge of governance, compliance and risk management frameworks.
• Experience managing resources, assets, budgets and contracts.
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage change processes within teams.
• Experience with SharePoint, Sitecore and Microsoft 365 would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of information services, including the intranet, website, print room, publications and corporate templates.
• Oversee the management, maintenance and lifecycle of section assets, equipment and physical collections.
• Support governance, compliance and risk management activities relating to privacy, information security, copyright and program administration.
• Coordinate business operations including records management, procurement, budgeting, contract administration and travel arrangements.
• Undertake other duties and projects as directed, consistent with the classification and capabilities of the role.
