Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Consumer Lending Strategy & Enablement Manager in Melbourne to lead the end-to-end consumer lending value chain, shape strategy and drive performance with data-driven insights.

You will partner with Credit Risk, Policy, Retail and Third-Party channels to improve acquisition, conversion and retention, simplify processes and modernise lending policies while balancing risk and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience across consumer lending products, market dynamics and distribution channels.
• Proven track record in strategy development or product enablement within banking.
• Experience in simplifying processes and lifting productivity or customer experience.
• Strong data interpretation and ability to translate insights into executive narratives.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute an agile lending strategy translating commercial objectives into actions.
• Drive improvements across acquisition, conversion and retention outcomes.
• Partner across the value chain to streamline end-to-end lending processes.
• Improve submission quality and reduce rework across channels.
• Modernise credit guidelines balancing risk and commercial outcomes.
• Develop business cases using data to inform platform enhancements.
• Monitor operational, credit, conduct and fraud risks with mitigations.
