Job summary

Community Services #1 (CS#1) invites an experienced Compliance Manager to lead specialist compliance initiatives across its diverse community services. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will provide pragmatic advice, coordinate reviews and audits, monitor regulatory changes, and drive improvements to safeguard clients and strengthen accountability across the organisation.

You'll influence across service areas, work with regulators, auditors and funding bodies, and develop tools to embed

Qualifications

• Qualification or substantial equivalent experience in compliance, risk or governance.
• Experience coordinating compliance, quality or risk activities in a regulated service environment.
• Ability to interpret legislation, regulatory standards, contracts and funding agreements.
• Knowledge of child safety, safeguarding and reportable conduct obligations.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist compliance advice to managers and service teams.
• Coordinate compliance reviews, audits, investigations and monitoring.
• Identify and report compliance risks and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor legislative, regulatory and accreditation changes and advise on implications.
• Coordinate external audits, accreditation reviews and funding compliance.
• Develop compliance tools, procedures and education.
• Verify corrective actions arising from audits, incidents, complaints, investigations and reviews.
• Prepare high-quality compliance, risk and assurance reports for governance and regulators.
• Support a culture of compliance, accountability, safeguarding, ethical practice, risk awareness and continuous improvement.
