Job summary

Transgrid is leading the Hunter Transmission Project to shape NSW’s energy future and secure long-term infrastructure for communities. The Engagement Lead will shape and deliver engagement strategies, build trusted relationships and guide consultation across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in community and stakeholder engagement within major infrastructure projects.
• Experience developing engagement and communications strategies.
• Strong communication, facilitation and negotiation skills.
• White Card and NSW driver licence, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver community and stakeholder engagement strategies that support project approvals and construction.
• Build trusted relationships with communities, councils, government agencies and landowners.
• Lead engagement programs and community investment initiatives across the project lifecycle.
• Identify, manage and mitigate stakeholder risks and inquiries.
• Provide engagement advice to project teams and delivery partners.
