HumanAbility is seeking a skilled Communications Coordinator to plan, draft and deliver clear communications across our website, newsletters, events and social channels. The role supports both internal and external communications and may involve liaising with contractors such as designers and videographers.

The position is full-time with a hybrid working model and travel as required. A tertiary qualification in communications or journalism is preferred, with strong writing and project management

Formación

• High-level written and verbal communication; ability to independently write, coordinate and produce publications
• Experience planning, writing, planning layouts, editing and producing publications across formats and mediums
• Ability to provide high-quality strategic publications advice to internal stakeholders
• Tertiary qualification in journalism, communications or related field
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills under pressure and tight deadlines

Responsabilidades

• Identify, plan and create content for HumanAbility’s communications channels, including social, digital and newsletters
• Translate complex technical content into plain English for target audiences
• Draft communication materials with clarity, accuracy and consistency
• Ensure content is accessible and appropriate for diverse audiences, including stakeholders and the public
• Work with other teams to align communications across sectors
• Assist in development of multimedia content, including videos and graphics
• Observe and follow work health, safety and wellbeing policies and guidelines
