HumanAbility is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support the creation and delivery of communications about our work. You will plan, draft and create clear, concise and engaging content across our website, newsletters, events and social channels.

You will work with the Senior Communications Advisor and other team members, liaising with contractors as needed. The role requires flexibility for travel and occasional after-hours work, with a hybrid model balancing office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism or equivalent.
• Experience in a communications team, not-for-profit or government sector.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with CMS, social media platforms and Monday.com.
• Ability to collaborate and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Identify, plan and create content for communications channels.
• Translate complex policy content into plain English.
• Draft clear, accurate, and consistent materials.
• Ensure content is accessible for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with teams to align communications across sectors.
• Assist in multimedia content development (videos/graphics).
• Observe WH&S policies.
