Job summary

Georges River Council is seeking a Communications Officer to manage complex or sensitive issues with sound judgment. You will report to the Coordinator Communications and Engagement and work across the organisation to strengthen the Council's reputation with the community, stakeholders and media.

You will deliver Council's media, public relations and communications activities, bringing projects and events to life through compelling storytelling and proactive media engagement.

• Experience in creating engaging content and stories for diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content across the organisation and support communication strategies.
