Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking an experienced Communications & Engagement Manager to lead how we communicate with residents, communities and stakeholders across our Seniors Communities portfolio.

Reporting to the General Manager, Sales and Marketing, you will shape internal and external communications, guide community engagement, and support DA/SSDA projects while building a high-performing team and trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years across communications, engagement, PR, content or brand.
• Strong strategic communications and stakeholder influencing.
• Experience navigating complex or sensitive community engagement environments.
• Ideally, experience with property, DA or SSDA projects.
• Exceptional writing, facilitation, presentation and storytelling skills.
• Strategic, measured approach with ability to build genuine relationships.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism or related.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated communications and engagement strategies across Seniors Communities.
• Shape internal, executive, resident, and customer communications.
• Lead engagement supporting DA and State Significant Development Application projects.
• Build relationships with residents, councils, community groups and stakeholders.
• Facilitate community forums and support communications through development and construction activity.
• Lead content strategy and storytelling across digital, print, social and customer channels.
• Provide expertise across change, reputation, and crisis communications.
• Lead, coach and develop a communications and engagement team.
