Job summary

Enerven in Adelaide seeks an experienced Environment Business Partner to shape environmental performance across major SA energy infrastructure projects. You will mentor a small environmental team, lead EMS implementation, and ensure projects comply with legislation and client requirements.

You will build relationships with regulators and clients, drive continuous improvement, and provide practical, outcomes-focused environmental advice to project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science or related discipline.
• Experience applying environmental management in construction, infrastructure or utilities.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, compliance and EMS.
• Experience leading or mentoring teams and driving improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor a small Environment team to build capability and foster environmental leadership.
• Lead environmental planning to support current projects and growth.
• Lead EMS implementation and governance framework maintenance.
• Provide trusted environmental advice to project teams ensuring compliance.
• Develop and review Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).
• Oversee environmental audits, inspections and investigations with corrective actions.
• Monitor environmental performance and identify opportunities to improve sustainability.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, regulators and internal stakeholders.
