Job summary

Talent Web Recruitment's client, a large Australian infrastructure organisation, seeks a Senior Commercial Analyst to shape how capital and operating spend is allocated.

You'll maintain and enhance financial models, support budgeting and forecasting, and deliver regular reporting. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with opportunities to translate complex analysis into clear stakeholder advice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, economics or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years as a financial or commercial analyst in a large organisation, including corporate planning, commercial analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, plus hands-on SAP Finance experience.
• CA/CPA/CFA qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance financial models for corporate and project finance, investment returns and funding structures.
• Support business planning, budgeting and forecasting, and deliver regular financial reporting and decision-support tools.
• Lead month-end close as required, including journals and explaining performance against plans.
• Identify opportunities to tighten controls and streamline processes.
