Job summary

Sharp and Carter in Sydney seeks a Senior Commercial Analyst to start next week on a 3‑month contract with strong extension or permanency potential. You will lead pricing analysis, support pricing reviews, and provide commercial reporting to influence financial direction.

The role requires CA/CPA qualification, excellent communication, and experience building Power BI/Tableau dashboards. Hybrid work is offered with a substantial salary package (circa AUD 150,000 + super).

Qualifications

CA/CPA qualified accounting professional with strong communication skills.
Ability to interact and engage cross-functionally with senior stakeholders.
Attention to detail and comfort in a changing, transformativ e environment.

Responsibilities

Pricing analysis and maintenance of pricing mechanisms.
Support contract and customer pricing reviews, including cost recovery initiatives.
Prepare commercial and performance reporting.
Perform data analysis and generate actionable insights.
Root-cause analysis of business performance and variances.
Build dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI and Tableau.
Provide commercial support to Sales and influence cross-functional initiatives.
Drive continuous process improvements aligned with the operating model.
Engage in ad-hoc project work as required.
