Job summary

VALD Pty, a world leader in musculoskeletal technology, is seeking a hands-on Commercial Analyst to join our finance team. This role drives budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, partnering with senior leadership to translate strategic goals into numbers and insights.

You will own ARR and unit sales metrics reporting, build models, and support cross-functional colleagues with ad hoc analysis in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, top tier accounting or equivalent corporate roles with demonstrated FP&A experience.
• Strong modelling skills with a track record of building models for commercial analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with financial systems (ideally NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Own the calculation, reporting and analysis of key commercial metrics including ARR and unit sales metrics.
• Develop and maintain the annual budget model and rolling forecast model.
• Lead the rolling forecast process.
• Collaborate across internal functions to develop financial model inputs and assumptions while ensuring input accuracy.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Support finance and the broader business with ad hoc reporting and analysis.
