Job summary

Amazon in Australia seeks an experienced Account Manager to focus on Telco, Media, Entertainment, Gaming and Sport. You will develop and execute a coverage plan, drive customer outcomes, and engage CXO level executives as well as software developers and IT architects.

The ideal candidate has strong sales and technical background with cloud and AI knowledge, plus proven ability to build long-term strategic relationships and pipeline with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals.
• Experience creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role or equivalent.
• Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
• 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
• Knowledge of key technology and market trends.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS, or experience with project management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in telco, media, entertainment, gaming, wagering, sports or digital marketplaces.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption to meet or exceed targets
• Develop and execute against a strategic plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust pipeline of value based opportunities
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS cloud and AI services
• Analyze metrics data from your accounts to help evolve your strategy
• Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
• Work with partners to manage joint engagement opportunities
• Assist customer in identifying use cases for priority adoption of AWS as well as best practices implementations
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
