Job summary

The Missing Link in Australia seeks a senior CISO Consultant to provide strategic cyber leadership to a client engagement on governance, risk, incident response and executive stakeholder engagement. This is a flexible, part-time consulting role focused on strategic advisory work rather than hands-on delivery, offering exposure to senior executives and large enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of information or cyber security experience
• Experience in CISO/Virtual CISO or equivalent leadership roles
• Proven ability to develop and implement cyber security strategies and programs
• Strong governance, risk management, security frameworks, and resilience expertise
• Experience leading incident response and cyber crisis management
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills
• Ability to influence decisions across technical and business teams
• Commercial acumen and a consulting mindset
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Security or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level cyber security leadership and strategic guidance.
• Define and align security strategy with broader business objectives.
