We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Consultant to support a client engagement requiring strategic cyber leadership, governance oversight, and cyber risk advisory capability. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned security executive looking for a flexible, part-time consulting engagement. The Opportunity

As a trusted advisor, you will partner with executive stakeholders to enhance cyber maturity, strengthen governance frameworks, and provide strategic direction across information security initiatives.

This role requires a balance of technical credibility and executive presence, with the ability to translate complex security concepts into business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level cyber security leadership and strategic guidance.

About You

You are a senior cyber security leader with extensive experience operating at executive and board level.

You will bring:

• 10+ years' experience in information or cyber security.
• Previous experience in CISO, Virtual CISO, Head of Security, or equivalent leadership roles.
• Demonstrated success developing and implementing cyber security strategies and programs.
• Strong expertise across cyber governance, risk management, security frameworks, and resilience.
• Experience leading incident response and cyber crisis management activities.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
• Ability to influence decision-making across technical and business teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and consulting mindset.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Security, Computer Science, Technology, or a related discipline. Based on the qualification requirements in the position description.
