Job summary

National Australia Bank in Sydney is seeking an accomplished Head of Capital Solutions to lead a senior, strategically important function aligning origination, distribution and portfolio optimisation with the bank’s capital strategies.

In this role you will partner across C&IB and the broader bank to connect customers with innovative third-party capital solutions, influence at executive and institutional levels, and build a high-performing team to support NAB’s ambition to be the most

Qualifications

Significant banking and finance experience across relationship banking and financial products.
Deep knowledge of debt capital markets, structuring and complex transaction execution.
Strong understanding of regulatory standards, accounting treatment and capital calculations.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategy and transformation with sound risk, regulatory and commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

Lead the Capital Solutions team to deliver innovative financing and capital solutions for customers and the broader bank.
Establishing and optimising credit partnerships, while overseeing Credit Insurance and Trade Products to support customer and bank objectives.
Originating third-party capital solutions across high yield, mezzanine and the broader capital stack to support customer financing outcomes.
Driving distribution and portfolio optimisation initiatives supporting risk limits, concentration management, GLA and RWA outcomes.
Partnering with senior stakeholders across NAB and representing C&I across client, investor, industry and stakeholder forums.
