Department of Justice and Community Safety seeks a Business Analyst and Project Support Officer to support Emergency Management Victoria's Technology and Data Division. The role focuses on analysing business needs, managing requirements and coordinating stakeholder engagement across multiple agencies.

You will collaborate with project managers, product owners and architects to ensure accurate deliverables and well-documented requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field.
• BRM or business analysis certification is a plus.
• 5+ years in business analysis delivering data, digital infra or complex transformations.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence and MS SharePoint; diagramming tools.

Responsabilités

• Manage lifecycle of business requirements from investigation to traceability.
• Lead scoping and prioritisation of large, complex changes with senior stakeholders.
• Gather requirements across a multi-agency emergency sector ecosystem.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers and stakeholders to ensure clear deliverables.
• Translate operational challenges into clear business cases and user stories.
• Conduct workshops and interviews to elicit requirements and document gaps.
