Victoria's Department of Justice and Community Safety invites you to join Emergency Management Victoria’s Technology and Data division as a Business Analyst and Project Support Officer. You will lead requirements gathering across a multi-agency emergency sector, translate challenges into compelling business cases, and partner with architects and developers to deliver critical digital infrastructure.

You will engage senior stakeholders, manage scoping and prioritisation, and ensure deliverables

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or related field; BRM or business analysis certification is a plus.
• 5+ years in a business analysis role on data, digital infrastructure or complex transformation projects.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS SharePoint; Visio or Lucidchart for process design.
• Must be willing to comply with public sector security clearances and emergency standby provisions.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the lifecycle of business requirements through investigation, analysis, prioritisation, documentation and traceability.
• Facilitate scoping activities and determine priority of large or complex changes with senior stakeholders.
• Lead requirements gathering across a multi-agency emergency sector ecosystem (CFA, FRV, VICSES, Triple Zero).
• Collaborate with project managers, product owners, solutions architects, developers and stakeholders to ensure deliverables are clear and accurate.
• Translate operational challenges into clear business cases and user stories aligned with the EMT&D strategy.
• Conduct workshops and interviews to elicit requirements, document use cases and technical specifications.
