Job summary

Stamford Hotels and Resorts in Adelaide seeks a driven Business Development Manager/Executive to grow revenue across Stamford Plaza Adelaide and Stamford Grand Adelaide. You will target corporate, government, conferences, events, group accommodation and leisure markets, while strengthening existing client relationships.

Reporting to the Area Director of Sales, you will craft strategies, manage a robust pipeline and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships with two leading Adelaide

Qualifications

• Extensive sales experience in hospitality, corporate, government or events markets.
• Proven ability to build relationships and develop strategic partnerships.
• Track record of achieving revenue targets and growing accounts.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
• Ability to prospect, develop pipelines and forecast opportunities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to generate new revenue across two Adelaide hotels.
• Identify and secure opportunities across corporate, government, conferences and leisure markets.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
• Manage and grow existing accounts to increase share of business and revenue.
• Develop a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to conversion and ongoing management.
• Conduct proactive sales calls, meetings, and site inspections to convert opportunities.
