InterContinental Hotels Group in Adelaide is seeking a Business Development Director with a track record of driving sales and smashing targets to help us fill our rooms and conference spaces. The role works closely with the Director of Sales to lead the Sales & Marketing team and drive hotel results.

You’ll manage daily sales activities, build relationships with clients and partners, develop strategic sales plans, and monitor performance to maximise occupancy and revenue.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing or related field.
• Three or more years in hospitality or hotel sales & marketing with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends.
• Collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
• High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strategic thinking and openness to new ways of working.
• Proactive in developing and maintaining strong relationships.
• Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily sales activities and coach the team to reach full potential.
• Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients, corporate partners, event planners, and local businesses.
• Create and implement sales plans to drive occupancy, rate, volume, and F&B sales.
• Identify partnerships with airlines, tour operators, travel agencies to boost bookings.
• Produce and review monthly performance reports.
• Hit personal and team sales goals to maximise profitability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts.
