Job summary

Western Health in Victoria is seeking an Administration Manager – Engineering Services to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the administration and support functions. The role drives governance, reporting, financial oversight, contractor management and continuous improvement to ensure services are delivered safely and efficiently for patients, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing administrative or operational support teams in a complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, financial management, and business reporting; ability to analyse data and drive informed decision-making.
• Proven experience leading process improvement and change initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Highly developed organisational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills; focus on delivering high-quality, customer-centred outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of the Engineering Services administration function, fostering a high-performing, customer-focused team.
• Lead operational excellence by driving continuous improvement, process optimisation, and service performance across administrative functions.
• Ensure governance and compliance through oversight of reporting, contractor management, risk management, and regulatory obligations.
• Manage financial and business performance, including budget oversight, expenditure monitoring, financial reporting, and business planning support.
• Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to deliver organisational priorities, enhance service delivery, and support Western Health's strategic objectives.
