Descripción de la vacante

North Sydney Council seeks an experienced Access & Inclusion Lead to shape an accessible, inclusive and connected community. You will provide strategic leadership to embed access, equity and inclusion across services, facilities and programs.

You will lead the Disability Inclusion Action Plan, collaborating with people with disability, community organisations, government agencies and internal teams to deliver meaningful and lasting change and champion universal design and inclusive service

Formación

Expertise in disability inclusion, community development, social planning or related field.
Strong understanding of accessibility, universal design and contemporary inclusion practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilidades

Lead the implementation and evolution of the Disability Inclusion Action Plan across the organisation.
Provide strategic leadership and specialist advice to embed access and inclusion in services, facilities, programs and infrastructure.
Work with people with disability, older people, community organisations and government agencies to deliver meaningful change.
Advise senior leaders and stakeholders to shape inclusive policy and practice.
