Job summary

Strata Management Services NSW is seeking a Trust Accountant to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity (Mon-Fri, 9:00am–5:00pm). You will manage daily trust receipting and reconciliations, process weekly payments, and handle BAS and tax returns while supporting strata budgeting and reporting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach, with opportunities to contribute to compliance and process improvements.

• Background in trust accounting, ideally within strata industry.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily trust account receipting and reconciliations.
• Processing weekly payment runs.
• Processing end of month and other ad hoc charges and disbursements.
• Managing accounts payable activities.
• Coordinating BAS submissions and tax returns.
• On-boarding and off-boarding clients within our systems.
• Strata plan budgeting and reporting.
• Other compliance activities and ad hoc accounting duties.
