Job summary

Gough Recruitment is seeking a Strata Trust Manager in the Sutherland Shire area. You will oversee the trust accounting function across ~700 strata managements, ensuring reconciliations, payments, receipting and reporting are handled efficiently.

You will lead a Trust Assistant, onboard new managements, and drive process improvements while reporting to the strata management team and Directors.

Qualifications

Proven strata trust accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of trust accounting compliance and processes.
Experience with reconciliations, payments, receipting and reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Oversee the trust accounting function across approx. 700 strata managements.
Manage trust reconciliations, payments, receipting and financial transactions.
Take ownership of onboarding new managements and ensuring all financial information is correctly established.
Prepare and oversee financial reporting and commission figures.
Ensure trust account compliance and all processes are completed accurately and on time.
Lead and support your Trust Assistant, delegating tasks and managing the day-to-day workflow.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiencies.
