S&S Building Management Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a skilled Grounds/Handyman to oversee the daily upkeep of three strata-titled buildings in Coolangatta, ensuring the high standards our residents expect.

Responsibilities include grounds and pool maintenance, basic repairs, regular inspections, and coordinating with resident requests and external contractors, while maintaining accurate records and complying with WHS requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience within a strata style complex or similar.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics, and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Strong practical skills in minor repairs and handyman work.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
• Professional demeanor with ability to interact respectfully with high-profile individuals.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, work autonomously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and organisational skills, with clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Grounds Maintenance: Maintain landscaped areas, gardens, and common outdoor spaces; keep pathways and external areas clean; monitor exterior lighting.
