Job summary

Tru Brite Cleaning Services is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team at a premium residential property in Sydney. This is a Monday to Friday role with potential weekend shifts and an immediate start.

You will maintain cleanliness, presentation and high standards in premium residential environments, including common areas, lifts, entrances, and gym facilities. Experience is preferred, but we welcome keen learners.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning experience or keen to learn.
• Sufficient English communication skills to understand instructions and communicate with residents and supervisors.
• Appropriate Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming and mopping common areas.
• Cleaning lifts and lift lobbies.
• Cleaning glass surfaces and squeegee work.
• Dusting and wiping surfaces.
• Maintaining entrances and front-of-house areas.
• Cleaning recreational facilities and common amenities.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and bathrooms.
• Cleaning gym areas.
• General upkeep of residential common areas.
• Moving and positioning garbage and recycling bins for council collection.
• Returning bins after collection.
• Cleaning and washing bins to maintain hygiene.

Tru Brite Cleaning Services is a sister company of Excel Building Management, a leading Building and Facilities Management company servicing Sydney’s premium residential and commercial strata markets.

For more than 34 years, Tru Brite has provided professional cleaning services to some of Sydney’s leading residential developments.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and professional Cleaner to join our team at a residential property at Haymarket.

This is a Monday to Friday position, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts on weekends, including immediate start available.

The role is focused on maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and high standards expected within premium residential buildings.

Your duties will include:

• Vacuuming and mopping common areas
• Cleaning lifts and lift lobbies
• Cleaning glass surfaces, including squeegee work
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Maintaining entrances and front-of-house areas
• Cleaning recreational facilities and common amenities
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets and bathrooms
• Cleaning and maintaining gym areas
• General presentation and upkeep of residential common areas
• Assisting with other cleaning duties as required
• Moving and positioning garbage and recycling bins in the designated council collection area for scheduled collection
• Returning bins to their designated storage areas after council collection.
• Cleaning and washing bins as required to maintain hygiene and minimise odours.
• Ensuring garbage rooms, bin storage areas and collection points are kept clean, tidy and free from waste.

• Has previous professional cleaning experience or keen to learn
• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work
• Is reliable, punctual and professional
• Has a positive attitude and works well within a team
• Is comfortable working in premium residential environments
• Has sufficient English communication skills to understand instructions and communicate appropriately with residents, Building Management and supervisors
• Has appropriate Australian working rights
