Delaware North Australia is seeking a reliable Storeperson to join our hospitality team at Melbourne Airport. You’ll manage inward and outward dispatch, stock rotation, and maintain HACCP standards in a fast-paced environment.

This hands-on role requires early morning shifts from 6:00am, a Food Safety Certificate, and basic computer skills. Forklift licence is preferred but not required, with opportunities for training and career progression within our global network.

Qualifications

• Experience within a stores or warehousing environment.
• Food Safety Certificate.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Forklift Licence preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work a variety of weekday shifts, starting at 6:00am.

Responsibilities

• Manage inward and outward dispatch of goods including temperature testing and quality control.
• Oversee stock rotation and accurate stock control.
• Ensure cleanliness of all cool rooms and associated stores areas.
• Uphold tight security of all stock by ensuring compliance of all store procedures by operational departments.
• Match delivery invoices to purchase orders, highlighting any discrepancies.

The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is seeking a reliable and hands‑on Storeperson to join our hospitality team at Melbourne Airport. As a Storeperson, you’ll play a key role in supporting our food and beverage outlets by ensuring stock is received, stored, and distributed efficiently and safely. This is a manual handling role that involves working in cool rooms and using a walkie stacker.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in food and beverage, hospitality, or kitchen operations who understands the importance of stock control, cleanliness, and maintaining HACCP and Food Safety standards, rather than a traditional logistics or warehouse environment.

Availability to work early morning weekday shifts, starting at 6:00am is essential.
