Job summary

Delaware North Australia at Melbourne Airport is seeking a reliable Storeperson to join our hospitality team. You’ll support our food and beverage outlets by ensuring stock is received, stored, and distributed safely, with hands-on duties in cool rooms and using a walkie stacker.

This role suits someone with a background in food and beverage or kitchen ops, familiar with HACCP and food safety standards. Availability for early weekday shifts starting at 6:00am is essential, with opportunities for

Responsibilities

• Manage inward and outward dispatch of goods including temperature testing and quality control.
• Oversee stock rotation and accurate stock control.
• Ensure cleanliness of all cool rooms and stores areas.
• Uphold security of stock by ensuring compliance of store procedures by operational departments.
• Match delivery invoices to purchase orders, highlighting any discrepancies.

Job description

Delaware North Australia is seeking a reliable and hands‑on Storeperson to join our hospitality team at Melbourne Airport. As a Storeperson, you'll play a key role in supporting our food and beverage outlets by ensuring stock is received, stored, and distributed efficiently and safely. This is a manual handling role that involves working in cool rooms and using a walkie stacker.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in food and beverage, hospitality, or kitchen operations who understands the importance of stock control, cleanliness, and maintaining HACCP and Food Safety standards, rather than a traditional logistics or warehouse environment.

Availability to work early morning weekday shifts, starting at 6:00am is essential.
