Job summary

Avia Executive is recruiting for stores roles at Melbourne Airport to support a major airline customer. You will help receive, store and issue stock, maintain inventory records and assist with daily warehouse operations.

This hands-on role requires a current forklift licence, attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team in a busy aviation environment. Data entry and inventory systems experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with data entry and inventory systems is preferred.
• Current forklift licence is required.
• Ability to learn specialized inventory and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, store and issue stock, tooling and equipment.
• Maintain inventory records and track tooling and asset allocation.
• Complete data entry, stocktakes and inventory checks.
• Use warehouse and inventory systems to record stock movements.
• Identify stock discrepancies and raise them through the appropriate systems.
• Operate a forklift to move and position goods safely.
• Assist with manual handling and maintain a tidy, organised warehouse.
• Work closely with colleagues to support safe and efficient operations.

You’ll support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, helping ensure stock, tooling and equipment are accurately recorded, correctly stored and available when needed.

• General computer literacy with a proven capacity to learn specialized inventory and logistics management software.
• Must be able and willing to undertake a full medical and DAMP test.
