Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies' Newcastle branch is seeking a motivated and reliable Storesperson / Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This is a practical and varied role where no two days are quite the same, working with a broad range of industrial products and supported by an experienced team.

You’ll receive stock, pick, pack and prepare orders, maintain stock accuracy, keep the warehouse clean and safe, and follow WHS procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Good mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial products.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
• A current driver's licence preferred, but not essential.

• Assisting with general warehouse and branch duties as required
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

Ideally, you’ll also have:
