Job summary

Fraser Coast Regional Council is seeking a Stores Attendant to join the Procurement and Stores team. You will receive, store and distribute inventory, process purchasing and receipting, and maintain accurate records while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires current forklift licence, a valid Queensland driver licence, and experience in stores or warehousing. You will work in a team with a focus on safety, accuracy and efficient stock management in a local government environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehousing or procurement support.
• Ability to accurately process inventory, purchasing and receipting transactions.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, record, store and distribute inventory, goods and equipment.
• Process purchasing, receipting and stores transactions using Council systems.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with stocktakes and reconciliations.
• Monitor hazardous chemical registers and SDS information.
• Provide advice and support on stores processes and procurement requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of stores and inventory management practices.
