Job summary

Linfox Hunterwood's fully automated warehouse is seeking a dedicated Storeperson to support daily operations on the dock and warehouse floor. You will operate a forklift, assist with inbound freight documentation and ensure safety standards are followed under the supervision of the team leader.

The permanent Afternoon Shift (3:20pm–11:20pm) offers hands-on responsibilities, rostering, and close coordination with transport providers to meet customer requirements in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or logistics
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent relationship building with customers
• Understanding of SAP systems
• Current LF Licence (High Reach exp preferred)

Responsibilities

• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.
• Providing exceptional leadership and direction to staff to ensure KPI’s are met and exceeded
• Managing staff issues including absenteeism and performance levels
• Assist with quality requirements by accurately inspecting and recording all inbound freight movements into the DC
• Controlling staff rosters and workload to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Liaising with transport providers and the greater warehouse team to ensure an accurate and efficient inbound process

What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and efficient Storeperson to join our fully automated warehouse in Huntingwood. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day warehouse operation, working across the dock office and warehouse floor. This hands-on role will involve coordinating dock activities, completing administrative and system-based tasks, and operating a forklift to move freight safely and efficiently. This role is a permanent position on theAfternoon Shift (3:20pm - 11:20pm) Key areas:

Are you the one?

We are looking for a self motivated individual who is highly focused on safety and driving results. You can demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a similar role with in warehousing or logistics
• Extensive computer skills – Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge
• Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities
• Exceptional relationship building with customers across all levels
• Understanding of SAP systems
• Current LF Lic (High Reach exp preferred)
