Linfox in Brisbane is seeking an experienced logistics leader to oversee site operations across warehouse and transport, with a sharp focus on safety, service and cost. You will develop and lead a high-performing team, drive improvements and build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

The role requires strong financial awareness, a process-driven approach and the ability to make fast, evidence-based decisions in a dynamic environment.

What does the job look like?

Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will lead site operations across both warehouse and transport, with a strong focus on safety, service and cost. You will partner closely with the customer, lead and develop the team, drive operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Key areas:

• Lead safe, efficient and cost-effective warehouse and transport operations.

• Manage safety and compliance requirements in line with Linfox policies, procedures and legislative obligations.

Are you the one?

You are an experienced logistics leader who can confidently develop high-performing teams and make effective decisions in a fast-paced operational environment. You bring a strong understanding of financial drivers, operational costs, safety and continuous improvement. You can demonstrate:

• Previous experience in transport operations.
• Proven capability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of financial drivers, costs, margins and operational performance.
• A process-driven, analytical and methodical approach.
• Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Secondary or tertiary education, with tertiary qualifications in Business or Logistics desirable but not essential.
