Job summary

Linfox Australia is seeking an experienced logistics leader to oversee site operations across warehouse and transport, driving safety, service and cost efficiency.

You will lead, develop and coach a high-performing team, partner with customers, and push continuous improvement initiatives to enhance site profitability and performance.

What does the job look like?

Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will lead site operations across both warehouse and transport, with a strong focus on safety, service and cost. You will partner closely with the customer, lead and develop the team, drive operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Key areas:

• Lead safe, efficient and cost-effective warehouse and transport operations.
• Deliver operational performance against customer requirements, daily targets and key performance indicators.
• Manage safety and compliance requirements in line with Linfox policies, procedures and legislative obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that support site performance and profitability.
• Develop a high-performing team through strong leadership, training and ongoing support.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders.

Are you the one?

You are an experienced logistics leader who can confidently develop high-performing teams and make effective decisions in a fast-paced operational environment. You bring a strong understanding of financial drivers, operational costs, safety and continuous improvement. You can demonstrate:

• Previous experience in transport operations.
• Proven capability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of financial drivers, costs, margins and operational performance.
• A process-driven, analytical and methodical approach.
• Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Secondary or tertiary education, with tertiary qualifications in Business or Logistics desirable but not essential.
