Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated Storeperson for Linfox's fully automated Huntingwood warehouse in NSW. The role supports day-to-day operations on the Afternoon Shift (3:20pm–11:20pm), coordinating dock activities, handling admin tasks, and operating a forklift to move freight safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will manage rosters, drive KPI performance, and liaise with transport providers to ensure a smooth inbound process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent relationship building with customers at all levels.
• Understanding of SAP systems.
• Current LF Licence with High Reach experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety standards and COR requirements at all times.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff to meet KPI targets.
• Manage staff issues including absenteeism and performance.
• Inspect inbound freight movements and record them accurately.
• Control staff rosters and workload to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with transport providers for efficient inbound processes.

What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and efficient Storeperson to join our fully automated warehouse in Huntingwood. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will support the day-to‑day warehouse operation, working across the dock office and warehouse floor. This hands‑on role will involve coordinating dock activities, completing administrative and system‑based tasks, and operating a forklift to move freight safely and efficiently. This role is a permanent position on the Afternoon Shift (3:20pm - 11:20pm) Key areas:

• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times.
• Providing exceptional leadership and direction to staff to ensure KPI’s are met and exceeded
• Managing staff issues including absenteeism and performance levels
• Assist with quality requirements by accurately inspecting and recording all inbound freight movements into the DC
• Controlling staff rosters and workload to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Liaising with transport providers and the greater warehouse team to ensure an accurate and efficient inbound process

Are you the one?

• Previous experience in a similar role with in warehousing or logistics
• Extensive computer skills – Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge
• Strong communication skills and effective negotiation abilities
• Exceptional relationship building with customers across all levels
• Understanding of SAP systems
• Current LF Lic (High Reach exp preferred)
