Job summary

DuluxGroup Ltd. is seeking a proactive Inventory & Stores Specialist in Sydney to identify and set up critical spares, maintain stock levels, and streamline supplier/vendor processes within the CMMS (MEX).

You will support maintenance planning, coordinate material receipt, and manage procurement activities to ensure efficient operations. The role requires collaboration across maintenance and engineering teams, experience with CMMS and SAP modules is desirable, and proficiency in MS Office is

Qualifications

• Engineering or related qualification is desirable.
• Collaborative, improvement-driven mindset with stakeholder engagement.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and materials.
• Experience using CMMS systems (MEX preferred).
• Exposure to SAP procurement modules desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Identify and set up critical spares by asset criticality and OEM recommendations.
• Maintain stock min/max, reorder points, descriptions and supplier details in MEX.
• Develop inventory/barcoding systems embedding inventory control in maintenance/engineering.
• Support Maintenance Planner with job pack materials.
• Obtain quotations and source cost-effective suppliers.
• Coordinate receipt and storage of maintenance materials and keep stores clean/organized.
• Control spares, consumables, tools and contracted service purchasing.
• Manage repairable spares, warranty returns and vendor exchanges.

• Develops and maintains stock min/max levels, reorder points, part descriptions, supplier details and equipment bill-of-material links in the site CMMS (MEX)

What We’re Looking For

• Trade and/or Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or a related discipline desirable
• A collaborative, improvement-driven mindset with strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and communication skillsConfidence accessing and interpreting technical drawings and other materials
• Experience using CMMS systems in any capacity, MEX preferred but not essential
• Exposure to SAP procurement modules desirable but not essential
• Ability to build effective supplier and stakeholder relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
