Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a capable retail team leader in Adelaide to drive customer service, stock management, and store presentation.

You will lead daily team activities, assist with POS operations, and collaborate with store management to meet sales goals. The role emphasizes brand initiatives and compliance. This position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays with hands-on leadership on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2–3 years of retail experience; prior store leadership preferred.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to move merchandise between backroom and sales floor.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift 30 pounds or more with assistance.

Job description

Deliver outstanding consumer experiences using the C.H.A.R.M. service model. Champion a positive team culture by sharing ideas, feedback, and concerns. Assist across POS management, customer service, merchandising, product placement, visual presentation, and stockroom operations. Lead by example on the sales floor and work with Store Management to achieve and exceed sales goals. Manage day-to-day team activities by delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and following up. Serve as a brand ambassador by staying informed about product collaborations, launches, and brand initiatives. Perform key holder responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, store recovery, and business readiness. Follow Asset Protection, shortage prevention, inventory control, and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• 2–3 years of retail experience; prior store leadership experience preferred
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Ability to move merchandise with appropriate equipment between backroom and sales floor
• Ability to place and arrange items on shelves and racks
• Ability to climb and descend ladders while carrying merchandise
• Ability to lift 30 pounds or more with assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or balance for extended periods
• Ability to remain on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per shift and continuously move around the store
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, reports, and computer/register screen information
• Ability to input information into a computer
