Job summary

Wabtec Corporation on the Sunshine Coast region invites an Electrical Supervisor to lead installation teams across Brisbane Northside to Beerwah, QLD. You will supervise electrical works per design, coordinate with engineers, and drive safety and quality on each project.

You will develop team competencies, run toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with client standards and regulations while maintaining schedules and budgets. A strong rail background is essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical / Electrical Mechanic License
• Certificate IV in Rail Signaling
• Substantial experience working as a supervisor in the railway industry
• Construction White / Blue Card
• Rail Industry workers card
• Clean Driver's License
• Practical & organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management systems are implemented and adhered to.
• Supervise an electrical team to carry out installation works as per design & specifications.
• Support in the Developing, implementation and monitoring of progress of construction plans in respect of time, cost and quality.
• Monitor construction work for compliance with engineering design specifications, client standards and statutory regulations.
• Develop individual and team competence.
• Conduct Toolbox and Safe Talks.
• Installation and maintenance of railway signalling equipment including Signals, Train stops, Point Machines, Track Circuits, Level Crossings and other wayside items.

Who will you be working with?

Wabtec's Digital Intelligence Signaling & Systems team is a recognized industry leader in the successful delivery of complex integrated system projects.

How will you make a difference?

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Electrical Supervisor will supervise an electrical team to carry out installation works as per design & specifications. The Electrical Supervisor works closely with engineers and other project staff to establish design criteria ensuring project goals are met.

Where is the position located?

The operating sites are located Northside Brisbane to Beerwah, QLD.

What will your typical day look like?
