Job summary

Haymes Paint is seeking a Store Manager for our Eltham store in Melbourne. You will lead a high-performing team, drive sales, manage budgeting and inventory, and uphold safe work practices. The role emphasizes coaching, merchandising, and building strong customer relationships with trade and retail clients.

You will oversee rosters, staff development, and ensure exceptional service while aligning with Haymes' values and culture. This is an on-site leadership role in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a dynamic team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
• Understanding of P&L, inventory, rostering, and expense control.

Responsibilities

• Manage store budget including labour, sales vs budget, inventory and margins.
• Build relationships with trade and retail customers for sales growth.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives as required.
• Coordinate with Infield sales team for strategy and communication.
• Foster customer satisfaction through product and store experiences.
• Recruit, onboard and coach new team members.
• Roster and mentor staff with regular feedback and development.
• Maintain a safe working environment and safe procedures.
