Job summary

Haymes Paint in North Lakes is seeking a Store Manager to lead the store team and drive profitability, service levels and merchandising. You will manage budgets, develop trade and retail relationships, and coordinate marketing initiatives while fostering a safe, learning-focused store culture.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen and the ability to coach staff across a six‑day rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a dynamic, experienced team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for internal and external relationships.
• Ability to interpret P&L, control expenses, rostering and drive store profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage store budget including labour, inventory and profit margins.
• Build relationships with trade and retail customers for sales growth and service.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives as required.
• Coordinate with Infield sales team to align strategy.
• Focus on customer satisfaction through product and store experiences.
• Recruit, onboard and coach new team members.
• Roster and manage the team with regular feedback, motivation and development.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to procedures.
