Job summary

Haymes Paint is seeking a Store Manager for our Leongatha store to lead the team, drive profitability, and deliver outstanding service and merchandising. You will focus on safe work practices, coaching, and building a strong store culture.

Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets, inventory, and staff rostering. This role follows a rotating Monday–Saturday roster within our six-day trade operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a dynamic retail team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated financial and business acumen including rostering and controlling expenses.

Responsibilities

• Manage store budget including labour, sales vs budget, inventory and profit margins.
• Build relationships with new and existing trade and retail customers for sales growth and service.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives as required.
• Maintain communication with the Infield sales team and store leadership.
• Focus on customer satisfaction through product and store experiences.
• Recruit, onboard and coach new team members; roster and coach staff.
