Qualifications

• Strong retail leadership experience across shop floor and stockroom.
• Proven track record as a Store Manager or equivalent for medium to large teams.
• Energetic communicator who leads with positivity and purpose.
• Able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• High attention to detail with understanding of retail profitability.
• Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations with a strong and visible floor presence.
• Inspire, coach, and develop a large, diverse team to build future leaders.
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with Universal Store service standards.
• Drive sales performance and store profitability through strong cost and productivity management.
• Manage rostering, budgets, and scheduling to achieve business and payroll targets.
• Maintain visual merchandising, presentation standards, and overall store efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and support team members through clear, honest, and constructive feedback.
• Uphold and role-model Universal Store's values, culture, and brand expectations.
