Universal Store in Australia is seeking a Store Manager who thrives on leading from the front, building a strong store culture and delivering standout customer experiences in a fast-paced fashion retail environment.

You will manage a Tuesday–Saturday roster, lead a medium to large team, drive sales, oversee budgets and stock, and ensure visual standards while upholding the brand's values.

Qualifications

• Strong retail background with hands-on experience across shop floor and stockroom.
• Proven experience as a Store Manager leading medium to large teams.
• Warm, energetic communicator who leads with positivity and purpose.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• High attention to detail with a solid understanding of retail profitability.
• Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Confident in delivering feedback and communicating at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations with a strong and visible floor presence
• Inspire, coach, and develop a large, diverse team to build future leaders
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with Universal Store service standards
• Drive sales performance and store profitability through strong cost and productivity management
• Manage rostering, budgets, and scheduling to achieve business and payroll targets
• Maintain visual merchandising, presentation standards, and overall store efficiency
• Recruit, train, and support team members through clear, honest, and constructive feedback
• Uphold and role‑model Universal Store’s values, culture, and brand expectations
