Job summary

Choice The Discount Store in Victoria is seeking expressions of interest for a Store Manager to lead a high‑performing team and deliver outstanding service. You will drive sales, manage staffing and inventory, and ensure safe, compliant store operations while supporting company growth.

The role requires strong leadership, customer culture, and data‑driven decision making, with a willingness to work across seven days and build enduring customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail management role.
• Previous experience in Discount, Department store or Supermarkets essential.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation and relationship-building.
• Proficient in using data and analytics to make informed business decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and ready to work across the full 7 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales associates to maximise productivity and sales
• Implement and monitor store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards
• Analyse sales data and make strategic decisions to improve store performance
• Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to drive business growth and profitability
