National Storage in Bunbury is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead both the main and satellite locations and work with the Operations Manager to drive financial and operational excellence. You will empower frontline teams and ensure the centre presents well for customers, in line with our values.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a management or team leadership role in a similar environment.
• Forklift license desirable; driver’s license required.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of Storage Consultants to meet or exceed targets.
• Managing a team including time management, delegation, and performance management.
• Ensuring excellent customer service is consistently delivered.
• Overseeing centre operations, presentation, maintenance, admin duties, security, access control, inventory and safety compliance.
• Weekly & monthly reporting on the centre’s financial performance to the Operations Manager.
• Promoting a positive, inclusive team culture aligned with company values.

About the Role: Based in Bunbury, you will manage both our main and satellite locations in the area. In this role, you will collaborate with the Operations Manager and the broader regional team to drive operational excellence and enhance overall performance. You will be responsible for driving financial and operational excellence, empowering the team on the ground, and ensuring the centre is consistently in presentable shape for our customers, all in line with National Storage's company values and objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of Storage Consultants to consistently meet or exceed performance targets.
• Managing a team, including time management, delegation, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Ensuring excellent customer service is consistently delivered.
• Overseeing operational excellence and actively managing centre operations, including centre presentation, maintenance, general administration duties, security, access control, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Weekly & monthly reporting summarising the centre's financial performance directly to the Operations Manager.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with the company's values and fosters teamwork, care, and excellence.

About You

• FULL Driver's license and car (required).
• Forklift license (desirable).
• Demonstrated experience within a management or team leadership position in a similar environment.
• Strong conflict resolution knowledge and the ability to de-escalate situations.
• Proven ability in working towards sales targets and KPIs.
• Proficient at using technology and multitasking between different systems.
• Effective communication skills and be able to foster a team building environment.
• You have a motivated, proactive, and positive outlook with the willingness to learn and grow with the business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• The ability to work on a rotating roster, with every second Saturday from 9am-2pm.
