National Storage is seeking a Centre Manager to lead the Tweed Heads centre and support a smaller site in Chinderah Bay. Based in Tweed Heads, you will drive financial and operational excellence, empower the team on the ground, and ensure the centre is consistently presentable for customers, aligned with company values.

You'll oversee service delivery, safety, reporting, and people management, with a rotating Saturday roster, and a focus on customer service and KPIs to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Full Driver’s license and car.
• Experience in management or team leadership.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Tech-savvy with ability to multitask across systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work rotating roster, incl. second Saturdays 9am–2pm.

Responsabilités

• Lead, support, and motivate a team of Storage Consultants to meet targets.
• Manage a team with time management, delegation, performance management and conflict resolution.
• Ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered.
• Oversee centre operations, presentation, maintenance, admin, security, access control, inventory and safety compliance.
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting on financial performance to the Operations Manager.

Based in Tweed Heads , you will join forces with the Operations Manager and the wider team in surrounding centres to enhance centre performance. This role is predominantly centred at our mainTweed Heads location, with the added variety of supporting a smaller centre in Chinderah Bay .
You will be responsible for driving financial and operational excellence, empowering the team on the ground, and ensuring the centre is consistently in presentable shape for our customers, all in line with National Storage’s company values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of Storage Consultants to consistently meet or exceed performance targets.
• Managing a team, including time management, delegation, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Ensuring excellent customer service is consistently delivered.
• Overseeing operational excellence and actively managing centre operations, including centre presentation, maintenance, general administration duties, security, access control, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Weekly & monthly reporting summarising the centre's financial performance directly to the Operations Manager.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive team culture that aligns with the company's values and fosters teamwork, care, and excellence.

About You:

• FULL Driver’s license and car (required).
• Demonstrated experience within a management or team leadership position in a similar environment.
• Strong conflict resolution knowledge and the ability to de‑escalate situations.
• Proven ability in working towards sales targets and KPIs.
• Proficient at using technology and multitasking between different systems.
• Effective communication skills and be able to foster a team building environment.
• You have a motivated, proactive, and positive outlook with the willingness to learn and grow with the business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• The ability to work on a rotating roster, with every second Saturday from 9am‑2pm.
