Toymate Pty in Bankstown, NSW is seeking an Assistant Manager ( Merchandise Manager ) to support daily store operations, lead a high-performing team, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

You will coach staff, optimise visual merchandising, manage stock, rostering, and daily reporting, and serve as a role model, stepping in as acting Store Manager when needed. Availability across weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Organised, reliable, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for retail and team development.
• Availability to work across weekends and trading hours.

Responsabilités

• Support Store Manager in running all store operations.
• Lead, coach and motivate team to achieve targets and service excellence.
• Maintain high standards in visual merchandising and stock presentation.
• Assist in stock control, rostering, and daily reporting.
• Act as role model and step up as acting Store Manager when needed.
